I have started the 3in 30 goals with The Tuckers Take Tennessee and Ashley Pichea. My 3 goals that I have chosen for February are making our daily homeschool routine a lot better.
Monday was a little off because Molly had physical science, and she was behind on her work (imagine that). They still got a lot accomplished, just not as much as they needed to. At one point they didn’t want to stop to get ready to leave.
Tuesday was a lot better. They worked like good little girls. We are using Tapestry of Grace, and we just finish week 29, French & Indian War and Gulliver’s Travels. I wish I could utilize everything this curriculum has to offer.
Did I mention our daily routine was better? LoL, that’s funny!!! We are in the process of remodeling our home, and my lovely husband decided we are going to have company over Saturday night after church. So……I decided we would take Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday off to clean up our construction site. Our week was off to a great start then we hit our first bump.
2nd bump (already) Baylee got sick so we had to go to the Doctor Wednesday. She did get to go to her Sci Quest class, so we did get a little school work in. We got a little cleaning done. So much for plans
Thursday – Dentist, AHG, piano lessons, and a little more cleaning.
Friday – A lot more cleaning.
So our school week turned into a cleaning week, but that’s okay. That’s one of the perks of homeschooling; being able to take a break when ever you want to. 3 cleaning is a lot better than 1.
